Thanks to the helpful staff at Wilgus we were able to find an amazing place at the beach at the last minute. The staff contacted the owner to make special arrangements for a short stay based on the availability of the unit. My friend and I enjoyed the beautiful quiet community that gave us easy access to the beach. one down item the front porch was a mess from bird droppings. They looked like they had not been cleaned in quite a while.

The unit was clean quiet and comfortable. Our kids really enjoyed the pool. We would rent it again. The only thing we didnt like was it took a little more time to get to the beach than expected.

Overall a very good experience - great and clean fully furnished place with all you need to live there is even a first aid box which was very relevant as I managed to get a splinter while walking on the front porch make sure you do not let your children walk barefoot because it is just varnished wood and it is easy to get a splinter. Very nice and clean community pool and they also have a pool for kids there they wont let you bring your child to a big pool unless the child is over 4 years of age. The drive to the ocean is 15 minutes but we did not mind driving and saving about 2000 in what we would have paid if we were to live on the oceanfront. The only thing which was confusing was getting a parking permit for the beaches. It turns out if you book anywhere else from Delaware Wilgus does not charge you a separate tax which entitles you to a free parking permit so youd need to buy one when you get there or pay for parking at pay stations each time you park 1.50 per hour. So one piece of advise would be when you finalize your booking with Wilgus and you are not booking from Delaware make sure you talk to them about it to avoid any surprises upon checking in. Folks at Wilgus were nice to provide us with one parking permit anyway even though I booked from Maryland so I cant complain. Overall a very good experience we had a great time.
