Needs to be updated really bad
This house has a great location but needs alot of work. Bedrooms were fine. Bathroom showers needed bad. Living room furniture plastic and very uncomfortable. Ants. ants. ants ants ants everywhere. Talked to neighbors said they had no ants. Ants on couch bedspillows carpet. Would not stay in this house again. Love Bethany. Looking for new place for 2011.? Too bad because owners have a gold mine there if they would give a little TLC.

Great location!
The house has a big downstairs with a spacious kitchen. Bedrooms were comfortable and beds were firm. Bathrooms are mediocre--upstairs shower has almost no water pressure and downstairs tub is an old-fashioned claw-foot. The outdoor shower was by far the best option. This is a perfect spot for someone looking for great location-close to town and beach-easy with small children but not a fancy vacation home.

Surprisingly large living area
We were pleasantly surprised at the large living area with the living room and kitchen. With five adults and two kids under 5 there was plenty of room. The living room furniture while very practical was not that comfortable. We all used the outside shower which was convenient. The upstairs shower was not used at all. There was a problem with ants on the kitchen counter and around the window in the front upstairs bedroom which I did mention upon checkout. Overall for our needs the place was very good. The closeness to the beach and town was great.

We had a lovely time.
We were very pleased with the amount of inside space. Plenty of room in the kitchen living room and four bedrooms! Everyone had private space as well as nice shared space. The living room furniture is not super comfy..but we were there for the beach anyway. It was a very hot week and the air conditioning had a little trouble keeping up but that is not unusual. Older home for sure but well kept and very beach worthy. A very short walk to the beach and downtown.

we love bethany beach
house is very nice. However they could improve when it comes to living room furniture. Not comfortable in the least.

Post Hurricane - Relaxed Family Vacation
Location was ideal both in relationship to the beach and town. The house was clean and well appointed - My husband and I loved sitting on the font porch in the early morning waiting for the sons to return from running where we watched the neighborhood rabbits emerge from their boroughs to breakfast on the lawns. Excellent little library and there were games and the information needed about the attractions and events exactly where they were easily found.
