better in bethany
I was very pleased with the cleanliness and the fact that it was a well-equipped kitchen. It was a short trek to the beach and we could walk across the highway for shops and restaurants. We also appreciated the ample parking and the large play area under the deck. My only concerns were the grills--no gas in the tank of the gas grill and the charcoal grill was rusted out and someone had burned pine cones in it. There were some loose boards in the walkway and the 2nd. step from the top was wobley. There is a terrible problem with poison ivy and oak--two of our party broke out. There is a large black snake around the clothes line and he managed to climb the stairs to the back porch. While they are not poisonous they can bite and they are not afraid of people--that stopped us from showering outside. I would rent this property again and recommend it to families looking to be in a quiet area and close to the action. My granddaughter even asked when were going back to our other house. We made some great memories.
