Maranda Ingram | Administrative Assistant

Maranda has been an administrative assistant and in the customer service field for over 10 years.  She came to Wilgus Associates, Inc. in June of 2008.  She enjoys spending time at home with her family and animals, reading and walking on the beach to find sea glass.

Thomas Einstein |

Tom moved to Delaware form Chester county, PA 23 years ago and became a permanent resident of Fenwick Island 3 years ago.  His insurance experience spans 38 years where he has worked with both large and small accounts.  He has designed insurance programs for large Retail, Trucking, Manufacturing and Construction clients, some of which are well know household names.  In contrast, Tom has developed a statewide program for small businesses.  He is experienced in all lines of insurance and has specialized in Self Insured Plans, General Liability, Professional Liability and Workers Compensation.  He also holds the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor.

Tom's hobbies include fishing, hunting, boating and woodworking.  In his spare time he has restored 7 homes, 2 cars and 2 boats.  He has 2 sons and three grandchildren.  Finally, he is not related to Albert but his boat's name is "RELATIVITY".  Tom works in our Bethany Beach office and can be reached at 302-539-7511

Tim Hill | Senior Property Manager and Vice President

Timothy C. Hill has 28 years experience in the real estate industry. Tim began his real estate career in the Baltimore area in 1979 as a real estate sales agent, property manager and construction contractor.

Tim moved to Sussex County in 1985 and began working at Wilgus Associates in 1986 as a summer rental agent. Tim became property manager in 1988 and in 2006 became corporate vice president. Tim resides in Georgetown Delaware with his wife Cindy and daughters Elizabeth and Mary.

David Wilgus | Insurance Agent (Commercial Lines), Secretary and Treasurer

David graduated from Indian River High School in 1981 and then from the University of Delaware with a Bachelors Degree in Consumer Economics. He is a graduate of the Insurance Institute of America with a certificate in General Insurance and he obtained the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor.

In 1992, David was recognized as the Delaware Insurance Agent of the Year by the Insurance Field Representatives of Delaware. In 1996, he was elected President of the Independent Insurance Agents Association of Delaware. In 2002 and 2004, Wilgus Associates, Inc. was recognized as a Best Practices Agency. This award is only given to the top 30 agencies in its tier group in the United States.

David has been at Wilgus Associates since 1985. He is the secretary / treasurer of the company and he serves as manager of the Insurance department. He is licensed to sell insurance in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Georgia. In Delaware, he is licensed as a Producer and Surplus Lines Broker.

David's specialty in Insurance is Commercial Lines.

Michael Wilgus | Broker, President and REALTOR®

Michael L. Wilgus is a 1977 graduate of Indian River High School and a 1981 graduate of the University of Delaware. Michael became part of Wilgus Associates in 1981 and has progressed within the company, beginning as a clerk in the Summer Rental Department, followed by becoming a Rental Agent, Real Estate Sales Agent, Associate Broker, Vice President of Wilgus, Broker of Record and in 2002, became the president of Wilgus Associates, Inc.

Michael is a Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI) and holds the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation from the Realtors National Marketing Institute, an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors. He is also a member of the Ocean View Church of Christ, a past President of both the Bethany-Fenwick Chamber of Commerce and the Bethany Beach Volunteer Fire Company and currently sits on the Advisory Board of the Friends of the South Coastal Library.

As a life-time resident of Bethany Beach, Michael and his wife Sandy have 3 daughters, Kylie, Jenna and Olivia.
