Nothing screams summer more than the 4th of July. However, this popular holiday isn’t the only fun taking place in Bethany Beach this summer. Between our celebrations and the Bethany Beach 4th of July parade, there’s no shortage of things to do on an Independence Day getaway. What to Know About the Parade
The parade takes place on July 4. It travels along Pennsylvania Avenue South to Cedarwood Street East. From there, it will proceed along Atlantic Avenue North to Ocean View Parkway West, then back to Pennsylvania Avenue South, and ultimately to Central Boulevard.
The Bethany Beach parade is a quintessential 4th of July parade. Not only will there be floats designed to match this year’s themes, but there will also be marching bands, bikers, and walkers. If you’re interested in participating, pre-register online or sign up on the day of the parade at the float registration tent on Central Boulevard.
One float you can look forward to seeing is ours! Get a prime viewing spot to see the Wilgus Associates float, complete with a live band playing classic beach oldies, as it works its way along the route. We’ll also be handing out patriotic giveaways and representing what makes Wilgus Associates – and our community – so special. Taking place at our Bethany Beach office, this special afternoon will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, catering from a local BBQ restaurant, live music, and great company. We will also have a donation presentation to the Bethany Beach Fire Department, our oldest customer.
