The main part of the home features a bedroom, full bath, large living area, dining and kitchen. On the connected and enclosed three season porch you will find another full bath, laundry area and two more bedrooms. A must see. No smoking.

The setting was beautiful ? One of our concerns is that the place needs a make over. First, the kitchen need updated appliances, the mitts were thread barren where you could feel the heat. The sink needs a new faucet. The ice maker made ice with an unusual taste to them. The couch, and rocker chairs were very uncomfortable and need updating. The bathroom needs a new shower head and shower rod and curtain that you don\'t step on when taking a shower. The water in the shower drained very slowly when taking a shower. It also could use a bath mat. The beds in the bedroom were comfortable. Lastly, not interested in looking at Family photos throughout the place. Locks on the entrance was tricky to lock going into the three seasoal room, and the lock going into the main house entrance was wobbly like it needed replacing, but it did lock. This did not make us feel very safe staying there.

Beach Retreat

This is a nice beach house for a family. The beds are comfortable and the house is well equipped, including bikes and lots of beach toys, chairs and umbrellas. The neighborhood is quiet and good for walking and biking, and the beach access is near by. The private beach is great, not too crowded, but you need to arrive early in the day to get a parking spot. Our only complaint was regarding the glider rockers in the living room, which have seen better days and need to be repaired or replaced. The cleaning crew did an excellent job, but the overpowering smell of Pine-sol lingered for a few days - it would be nice if they used something less pungent.

Wonderful Stay

We have been vacationing in Middlesex since teary 2000. This beach home fit our needs perfectly. The bikes were a big plus. The kids would bike over to the beach to give mom and dad more wake up time in the mornings

Repeat Customer

This was our third year staying at this location. It's very comfortable and relaxing. Our children enjoy the stay as much as the adults. The beach is in short walking or driving distance. Parking is readily available at the beach. Basic grocery items are a block away. The home owners provide 2 bicycles as well as much appreciated beach chairs, umbrella and boogie boards for the children. We've seen both deer and fox through the large windows while eating our meals. The two double beds are very comfortable. There are three sets of bunk beds. The outdoor shower is a nice bonus. The deck in the back is a nice space and we always bring along our gas grill, however the homeowners do have a charcoal grill available. The kitchen is open to the living and dining room, allowing our family to be together. We are looking forward to our visit again next year.

Best Beach House Yet!

Our family has been coming to Middlesex Beach for decades. Family members from around the world rent cottages and we all spend days at the beach and visiting Rehoboth, Ocean City and Bethany (and everywhere in between) We have stayed in a number of cottages, mostly on the woods side where 19 Addy Road is located.
19 Addy Road is such a wonderful little cottage with so many extras. The owners are so welcoming and offer 2 bikes with locks for guests to use, many beach chairs, umbrellas, toys and boogie boards. There are bocci balls and other fun games to play with the family. There was a waffle iron which I used to make waffles for the family one morning - FUN!
It is great to have 2 full bathrooms and the air conditioning worked great. The living area was large and the screened in porch was really large for gatherings.
Also, it was affordably priced. That is huge. We like a cottage that looks like a cottage, not a fancy home.
