Renters’ insurance is a policy that protects your personal belongings in case of theft, fire, or other types of damage. While your landlord’s insurance policy may cover damage to the building, it typically does not cover your personal belongings. While it is not required by law, many landlords require renters’ insurance as a condition of the lease.
Wilgus Associates, Inc does have an Insurance Department and can assist you with obtaining renter’s insurance. You can email email@example.com to get more detailed information.
You will receive your security deposit back as long as the property is returned in the same condition as it was when you took occupancy. If there are damages that are not considered normal wear and tear or if there is any outstanding money due when you vacate, these amounts will be deducted from your security deposit. Your security deposit will be processed within 20 days of lease termination. Please make sure you provide a forwarding address.
These are just a few of the many questions Tenants may have. If you have additional questions, it is best to consult your Lease, Delaware Landlord Tenant Code or speak with a legal professional.
