Great layout of rooms with large living room and kitchen. having a dining room table that seats 10 is a plus. Beach is a little less crowded at Fifth St than along the rest of the public beach.

I have vacationed in Bethany for most of my 60+ years on the Ocean Front or beach block north of Ocean View Pkwy.
For the last 10 years we’ve rented the McCabe Fifth Street property for our extended family. It is extremely well laced out and fitted for the 12 occupants it handles. Proximity to the beach on the north end of Bethany is plus. The owner has been wonderfully attentive when any issue has presented itself (few and far between).

AMAZING STAY for a Family with 6 children under 4!!

This house couldn't be more perfect for a large family with multiple generations sharing a vacation week together! We had 6 children under 4 years old. The short walk and beach access was great for us. We were able to get back and forth quickly and they enjoyed riding their bikes around the quiet streets. The houses amenities were so appreciated. Extra beach toys, refrigerators, mini pool, rented chairs and umbrella and the list goes on! Thank you for providing us a great week that allowed us to make wonderful beach memories for all!

Great house for large group

Great stay near the beach and downtown Bethany. The house was great and well stocked with beach gear and kitchen accessories for our crew. Our only request would be that the kids beds be higher quality. They sank in when you sit on them and 2 of our 3 preteens didn’t sleep on them and chose the floor or in our beds instead. We’ll bring air mattresses for them if we come back since we did love the house itself and location!

We always look forward to our annual beach vacation. We have been staying at this property for over 20 years. The unit is starting to show its age. Although several improvements/updates have been made in the last couple years. The kitchen is in dire need of an update and I am happy to report that plans are in the works to do just that. The main living space could use a second couch. Can't accommodate more than five around the TV. Overall our experience with this property has been very positive. We are going back again next year and yes, I would definitely recommend this property to a friend.

Our family has been meeting at Bethany Beach for more than 25 years and rented this property every year since it came on the market. We particularly enjoy the elevator for our older and handicapped family members, and the ample parking for multiple family autos. Beach access is excellent and downtown is just a short walk.
