Enjoy a memorable vacation in this family oriented home located on the first block of Bethany Beach. Main level has large dining table, kitchen and living area, screened porch (with picnic table) and three bedrooms (one suite), and full hall bath with laundry. Top floor has three bedrooms (one large master suite, two more bedrooms and full bath). Decks off of several rooms and all just a short walk to the beach! Ground floor also has a half bath. No Smoking. No Fireplace use.

-Saturday to Saturday rentals from 6/17-8/19. Flex bookings allowed (3+ nights) all other dates.
-Linens and towels are not provided but are available for an additional fee of $300

Very nice house, clean and well-equipped. Very short walk to the beach. We did find the house hot at 74 degrees, most of us used to a little cooler. Great week.

Great location and price!
We had a great stay at 117 Ashwood. Only 1.5 blocks from the beach and a 5-10 minute walk to downtown Bethany, we couldn't have asked for a better location, especially for the price. There are 3 bedrooms on the top floor, and 3 on the main level. The master bedroom on the top floor has skylights, so just keep that in mind for anyone who likes to sleep in. There is another master on the main level. The garage was FILLED with beach toys, a beach buggy, bikes, and boogie boards. It came with umbrella and chair rental included, so all we had to do was tell the chair/umbrella rental workers at the beach the address and they provided everything for us, meaning we didn't have to bring them to the beach ourselves, which was incredible. The house was clean and had a well stocked kitchen. It was also well furnished and had plenty of seating. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend this home to others.

All we could ask for. Extremely clean. A spacious house for all 14 of us. One block from the beach. A few blocks from main street and restaurants. Ample parking. Bikes and wagon for the kids. Many amenities. New furniture in living room.

I had a large family gathering for a three day weekend, requiring the rental of two houses. This house was the older of the two homes rented. It is somewhat showing its age, but it is well maintained.

Satisfied, house is very comfortable with the exception of poor mattresses on all the twin beds, broken fan on front porch. A lot of junk in closets that appears to be left by people who had no further use for it, needs to be cleaned out. Lots of parking.

Great Vacation

You are always accommodating. This is the 4th year we have rented and everything was excellent from the time we arrived until we departed. The house was very clean and provided everything we needed.
I do wish we could get into the house before 4:00. I recognize that the cleaning schedule determines when we can enter.

We had a wonderful week in this well stocked home. There were kayaks, chairs, umbrellas, and bikes. It was a quick walk to the beach. There are numerous decks and a screened porch for family gathering. The house was clean and accommodating. We would highly recommend.

Great Family Beach Vacation

Wonderful house for 3 generations family.
We've been coming to Bethany Beach for almost 40 years. As our kids and needs and budget have grown, this is one of the best. Everything we needed and more.
Just was surprised that there were no closets in two of the bedrooms.

Another fun family reunion!

The 4 branches of our family have gathered here for many years and always had a great week together. Though the cost has jumped dramatically this year, all the other vacation rentals chose to do the same thing, so we all just dug deeper and found ways to keep costs down during the week - like cooking in for most meals. This home has a good kitchen dining arrangement that allowed us to do that comfortably.

The home is just a brief walk to the beach. It was also within reasonable walking distance of the downtown Bethany beach shopping. The home is beautiful and the stay was incredible. Thank you!!!

Great Location, Great Vibe, a Bit Shabby

We had a fantastic stay. The house is in a perfect location, and the vibe was great--casual, easy. We loved having beach chairs available and the rental chairs and umbrella on the beach. There was ample outdoor space. The large sectional in the great room was comfortable and perfect for our group. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the large dining room table was great, as was the picnic table in the screened-in porch. The issues we had were bad WiFi, many broken and breaking chairs all over the house, see-through curtains in the room adjacent to the back porch. Though the three larger beds were all very comfortable, all the single beds were not. I would recommend this house to laid-back friends, but I think some friends would find it a bit shabby. When we called Wilgus about the WiFi problem, they were very responsive and arranged to send someone out to fix it immediately.

A wonderful week in Bethany

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Bethany. We have been coming to Bethany for nearly 50 years. The location was excellent. A short walk to the beach and into town. The house was spacious and met all of our needs. The kids enjoyed the bikes and the wagon was very helpful taking things to the beach. The house was very clean when we arrived.
There was a minor problem with the garbage disposal but you sent a maintenance person and the issue was resolved quickly.
There are a few items that need to be attended to:
* The shower door in the upstairs bathroom off of the hallway needs to be put back on track. We did not use it.
* A window in the bedroom on the first floor to the right of the hallway will not close properly.
* We suggest that a new grill be purchased. There was enough propane; however, we could not get it to go above 250/350 degrees with all of the burners on the maximum setting.
With these adjustments we would recommend the house to a friend or relative.
We have reserved the house for next summer. Lastly, it was a pleasure working with the Wilgus staff - very responsive and accommodating.
