This well-maintained home features an open Great Room & Dining Area with large dining table, stone fireplace, custom bookshelves, bamboo floors and plenty of seating. Some of the many features include a well-equipped kitchen with ample counter space, counter seating, coffee pot and Keurig. Next to the kitchen you will find a wet bar with plenty of barware, an under counter ice maker and refrigerator. This home has laundry facilities on both the ground level and second floor, built-in custom bunk beds and dressers, master bath soaking tub, custom lighting package, 5 flat Screen TV's including a 55” Smart TV in the great room with Sonos surround sound, a second floor Den with access to one of several outdoor decks, sleeper sofa, desk, Smart TV with video system connection, and Sonos sound system. This home has a newly updated high-speed wireless internet service throughout, and premium cable TV with TiVo DVR & XTREAM service in the Great Room and Den. The ground floor has a large guest closet with beach chairs and accessories, and a game room with ping-pong and foosball. This home has a covered front porch, front and back open decks, screened-in elevated back deck, backyard deck at grade with a large Weber gas grill, Adirondack chairs and 8-seat picnic table, as well as two enclosed outdoor showers with private changing areas. Beautiful and comfortable family home within walking distance to the beach and town. Well stocked with everyday essentials.

Can’t beat walking to town for date nights . The Parkway (a longtime favorite)and Via Sophia did not disappoint. Great location to be able to pop back to the house for lunch and put the grands down for a nap.

Wilgus was very helpful and responsive to our questions.

Highly recommend this property!

Fabulous Home

Third year we have spent two weeks in this wonderful home. With three in suite bedrooms and two bunk rooms it is perfect for our family which includes our two kids, their spouses and the five grandkids. Even room for a nanny who took over the upstairs den. Lots of space and areas to get away when needed. Fully equipped kitchen. We will be back!

Great week at Bethany Beach!

We love staying at this beach home. It offers everything that our family could want and more. We especially love that each bedroom has its own bathroom. The kitchen is very well stocked with glasses, dishes, utensils and cookware. The game room provided lots of fun filled competition for our family. There was also plenty of fun games available to play in the evenings and on the few rainy days. We're grateful that beach equipment is provided, especially the cart which came in handy taking things to the beach. We love the location which was only a short walk to the beach and to the downtown area. We had a wonderful meal at the Parkway restaurant and had ice cream almost every night at Maureen's Ice Cream shop. Our nineteen-month-old granddaughter enjoyed the park that was also within walking distance. She also enjoyed the Bethany Beach Nature Center which was a short drive on Garfield Parkway. Our whole vacation experience was fabulous and look forward to returning next year.

Awesome Girls Weekend

We were a group of 10 childhood friends who have been getting together for about 6 years in the spring and fall. This place was by far the best place we have ever stayed at. From the picture, you think this could not be big enough -- trust us, it is.

The house was spotless, the kitchen very well stocked with not your normal run of the mill rental appliances and utensils. It provided two bedrooms with 2 sets of twin beds - perfect for individuals - not couples. A bathroom attached to each bedroom was an additional perk. If you have a few couples with kids staying, each couple could have their bedroom, with the kids in the bunk bedrooms.

The kitchen table was perfect for meals where we could all gather at one time.

Probably the only downside we could come up with was the inability to see the ocean/bay from the house. Otherwise a 5 star rental. It is a very short walk to the beach or shopping area. Beach chairs provided and things for rainy days - lots of games (we didn't stop talking long enough to play).

We will be back in the Fall

September 2021 Beach Vacation

We have rented beach houses up and down the East Coast over many years. This house was perhaps the best maintained and cleanest yet. The Realtor provided accurate information, so we were not disappointed or surprised when we arrived. We'll certainly rent with Wilgus again.

AMAZING WEEK OF MEMORIES!!

221 Wellington Pkwy is beautiful! The house has everything you could ever need on vacation! The kitchen is fully stocked and the wet bar with an ice maker came in very handy! Each bedroom had its own bathroom which saved so much time when coming back from the beach! The location is perfect! Only 2 blocks to the beach and 3 blocks to the middle of town! Can’t wait to explore more of Bethany Beach next year!!

Perfect Accommodation for our Family

With six adults and eight children the property has the perfect number of rooms with bathrooms so that all families and kids were happy. The interior design and decorating is very classy and yet beach-like. The grille, two outside showers, hose for feet washing, and ice maker were very nice amenities that made our stay very enjoyable. There was plenty of space for storing our 13 bikes.

Bethany Stay

The home was decorated beautifully and you cannot beat the location. However, the owners need to check on their cleaning company. The kitchen cabinets were dirty, there was sand on the floors, The bathrooms for the "non primary" bedrooms were not even wiped down. There was hair all over the showers and the toilets did not look clean at all. In addition, the wifi and televisions need an upgrade. The wifi was constantly going in and out and the TV in the family room upstairs didn't work half the time. Upgrading the mattresses in the non primary bedrooms wouldn't hurt either, or maybe just getting some mattress pads.

Everything was great except for the weather which no one can control that. The house is beautiful and decorated very well. There is plenty of kitchen gadgets, plates pots and pans etc. The bedrooms are decorated very well and all of the rooms are like a very comfortable home. WE have been there a couple of times and will be going back again. Our favorite in Bethany.
