Sharp clean house

The house leans toward modern. Decore is mostly black and white. Very sharp with clean lines and interior. Was okay for our family, but we could have used one more bedroom and bath. One of us does not walk as well anymore so was a block or two farther from the beach than we would like. No fault of the house or Wilgus. The fault of renters age. Wilgus staff is wonderful.. Our family has only positive things to say about Wilgus. Will recommend them to anyone.l five stars

305 Oakwood, summer of 2024

It was great. The house is practically brand new and very well maintained. Kitchen is spectacular, loved the deck off the kitchen as well. We were 4 adults and 5 high school aged kids and fit very comfortably. Ample parking and the owners threw in their resident parking pass which was very useful for parking in town. Location was great. Short walk to the beach and town.

Rental was Great! Wilgus Associates not so much!

Home, stay, location = 10 out of 10

However, I’ll never go through Wilgus Associates again for my annual Bethany Beach summer rental. Rental was selected because the description stated, “service animals allowed by request.” Crystal at Wilgus Associates emailed me a series of questions about my service animal that violate the American Disabilities Act. I was told my Service Animal could not accommodate me during my stay. (The house description has since removed “service animal allowed by request”). I accidentally left a few items in the rental by mistake (leggings, a swimsuit, beach towel, and some liquid detergent). Wilgus Associates told me they will send some of the items to me for a $25 dollar charge, but they won’t be shipping me everything I left behind. Great rental, but unfortunately, the lack of professionalism and customer service, will be the reason why we don’t rent this home again next summer, nor rent from Wilgus Associates ever again.

Wonderful stay at a new property

We enjoyed our week at 305 Oakwood - the house is new and beautiful, with plenty of space for our large family. We were able to make good use of both TV watching areas, as well the excellent screened-in porch in the front. Everything was clean and in pristine condition - immaculately maintained. We would be happy to stay here again on a future trip.

Only a couple notes to mention, not to complain, but only to inform. The upstairs bedroom, described as "queen" in the rental info is likely more like a double bed in size. Also, the kitchen is not as well-stocked as some others we have used in beach rental properties. While we were certainly able to make it work, if someone had some very specific cooking plans, the kitchen might not have everything to pull it off (for example, there's no stock pot if someone planned on a seafood boil).
