A great place along the beach

The home was lovely and just as advertised. Lots of great space for gatherint as well as meals. Only a three-minute walk to the beach on the little walkway. Beach was well maintained and having lifeguards made it even safer. Be aware that tents/cabanas are not allowed. Not much to walk to so needed to drive a lot. But overall a superb place for our extended family vacation. A suggestion for the owners: Ditch the keys and go to keyless entry. Much easier to provide access for everyone.

Family vacation
My family and I stayed at this large and conveniently located house for an end of summer vacation. There were four generations!
The house is perfect for this. The screened porch was especially great.
The only real complaints were that we couldn't regulate the flame on the gas grill and that one of the box springs was off the bed frame. The rental agency was very helpful. We would gladly return.

Great for families

This property was a great location for a family gathering with young children. The walk to the beach was on a protected pathway (no worries about cars), and there was a playground, a basketball hoop, and tennis courts a 2 min walk from the house. The house itself was well equipped for young children. There were plenty of games and toys, and the top room had so many beds I imagine it would be perfect for a “bunk room” for older kids.

Happy to be back!

Home was clean, including kitchen apppliances. Bathrooms and bedrooms clean. All floors clean. We picked up our key at 4:00 at Wilgus, but the cleaning crew had quite a chore cleaning the kitchen (we did see the mess). Unfortunately, due to the size of the house and who knows what else, we did not take posession of our rental until 5:10pm so that we were out of the way of the cleaners (who, I must emphasize, did an outstanding job). We stayed here in 2021 for the first time, and we fell in love with this home. Kitchen is fairly well stocked - could use a large 13x9 or bigger casserole dish for baking. Thankfully, I brought one from home. A full set of measuring cups and spoons would also be appreciated, but I did have some odds and ends packed. Beds varied in comfort as expected. Large dining area (inside and out) is great for a large family. Our week was cooler, so we spent evenings on the screened porch. The home is convenient to the walkway to the beach. Plenty of parking for our family. Appreciated having chairs available for use. Cooked all but one night. We did not have opportunity to use the grill this year. Had dinner out one night at Blue Coast - highly recommend. Two fridges, two dishwashers, two washers and dryers - so thankful for all of these! This is a beautiful home, and we do look forward to staying here again in the years to come!!

The house suited our needs. It was very well designed, many amenities, light and airy and five granddaughters enjoyed the top floor bedroom. The guarded beach was fantastic.We would happily rent it again.

Beautiful vacation home!
We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was clean and beautiful. Check in/out was an easy process. The house was an easy walk to the beach and good location to downtown Bethany as well as Dewey!
