54 Kings Grant - Kings Grant

This was a beautiful location to pass 2 weeks. Fenwick Island is such a fantastic find - truly a quiet peaceful location in contrast to Ocean City just a few miles to the South. I was disappointed with the fact I had to scramble to put together sheets and towels for all my guests since they flew in from various locations. My bad that I didn’t notice when I booked. This also made for a longer time getting out. We also were expected to “broom clean” the house and I would say that we left it much cleaner than when we got there. Someone should spot check the cleaning since the sinks, and under cutting boards or rugs or if anything was moved was pretty dirty, all the sinks were pretty dirty when we cleaned them and not from us but old coated grime. Not what I expect with a hefty cleaning fee. Also, not one sheet of toilet paper in the house when we arrived. I realize we had to supply our own but after everyone’s all day of travel, it was not a great thing to discover we had to run out and get some. In addition, It was annoying to have to pick up and drop off the keys. We had to leave an extra 1/2 hour early from check out to get the keys returned by 10am. It would be nice if we could just leave locking the keys in the house. We had 7 people and it was a full house. I guess 2 could have camped on a sofa bed but not really. The skylight on the roof made for very early risers of the kids in the bunk beds. Beach access was great and easy. The bay view was lovely. The pool was convenient and great for the kids. The AC was a little uneven, the master bedroom was very cold compared to the rest of the house. The coffee table in the living room is pretty wobbly. I don’t want to give the impression the it was bad just some observations. For the most part, it was a great two weeks. I will definitely return to Fenwick Island but I don’t think I will have as many guests so will not need such a big townhouse.
