806 Farragut - Sea Colony East

For an extended stay, I wanted to plan a rental through a realtor rather than go direct to an independent owner who might not be available at all times. My agent at Wilgus, Charissa, walked me through all the properties that were available for my dates and helped secure the condo at Sea Colony that would work out best. The process was easy and organized.
I am very glad I went this route for the rental. I felt I had someone available for questions and who was close by, in town, in case anything came up. Only one issue arrived (which was minor- internet service) and after I left a message for Charissa, she got me information within an hour and I was back up. Also during this extended stay, some mandatory inspection was occurring in my building at Sea Colony, and the Wilgus office kept me totally informed of the project. I was able to plan my day around it and it was not a surprise or a nuisance in any way.
This was my first stay at Sea Colony (and in Bethany Beach) so it was a benefit to have the Wilgus team walk me through all the logistics of the community - parking, registration, etc. – and also let me know exactly what fitness center and pool was open during the off season. The condo owner was great in working with Wilgus to have the unit ready for me.
The condo itself is lovely! The kitchen and baths are very nicely up to date. The furnishings are comfortable and exactly what you’d want to enjoy a beach visit. Honestly, I opened the blinds to the full wall of windows in the living room and the large windows in the master bedroom overlooking the ocean and that was all I needed. The sunrises are worth getting up early!
If it was not winter, I would have been on the balcony every minute – it is large and private. Also didn’t realize until I got there how great the location is. It is walking distance to the downtown of Bethany, the boardwalk area, and a number of restaurants. Great place in a great area.
