Wilgus Associates can help better your vacation experience by giving you access to our advanced vacation rental tools. Use the search fields (on the side) to address your specific search criteria, or search by featured properties and specials. Once you have found the perfect property, check the available dates and book online! We are happy to offer daily rentals (3 night minimum) for several of our rental listings. To access these listings, simply select the dates that you are looking for or give us a call. Our knowledgabe vacation rental experts are happy to assist you! 

We were very fortunate to have worked with Wilgus Associates in the purchase of our Bethany Proper Townhome in January 2019.  We would like to give a special thanks to our Realtor and Rental Manager, Charissa Joachimowski, for making the purchase and settlement of our vacation rental property a smooth and enjoyable experience.
There were numerous tasks needed to initially prepare and list our home into becoming a weekly seasonal rental.  In addition to Charissa, many Wilgus staff in the Rental, Property Management and Insurance departments were all extremely helpful and professional in assisting and supporting us in this effort.
We also are very satisfied that we decided to have a virtual You-Tube video created of our property. In addition to pictures, the video tour provides a flow throughout our home to give the viewer a better understanding of the layout in determining whether our home will meet their vacation rental needs.
We are very happy to be working with the Wilgus staff and highly recommend their services.

Rental FAQs

  • When do you accept reservations?

    We begin accepting new reservations and previewing homes after October 15th for the following year. Partial Rentals (3 night minimum), available in some units. Deposits equal 1/2 of the rent plus all taxes and fees, when applicable. Taxable areas: Bethany Beach 7%; Fenwick Island 7.5%; South Bethany 8%., Ocean View 5%, Millville 2%.  Reservations made less than 30 days prior to arrival date must be paid in full at time of booking.

  • When is check in?

    As units become available (cleaning and scheduled maintenance are complete) we will contact you to let you knwo that you may chcek-in early. If you do not get an early in call/text, you may check-in anytime after 4 p.m.  Early check-ins are NOT guaranteed. You may use our convenient Drive-up Window to check in. If you will be arriving after 5 p.m. you may pick up your check-in package from the Rental Lobby (open 24hrs).  Your package will have an envelope with your last name on it. 

  • When is check out?

    Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. Keys must be returned to our office at that time. Once keys are returned to our office the property may not be occupied or re-entered for any reason. A key drop box is provided outside our office door for early departures. Late check-outs will forfeit key/permit deposit of $75.00. We ask that you leave the premises in the same general condition as it was found. We do not expect you to undertake any heavy cleaning tasks.

  • What if I have to cancel?

    In the event of a cancellation or transfer, you are responsible for the full amount of your original agreement. Only IF we are able to secure for that property a new agreement for the same time period and dollar amount will your monies be refunded (less a 15% penalty on total gross rent). All cancellations must be put in writing and received by our office prior to re-renting.

  • Can I bring my pet?

    MOST homes are NOT pet friendly. Violation will result in eviction. There are a few pet friendly homes available with a refundable deposit and additional cleaning charge. Ask your agent for information.
